In a traditional Seder, we say the blessing that is to follow over the wine. In our Chocolate Seder, however, because we replaced the wine with chocolate milk, we will say this blessing instead:

Baruch atah A-donay, Elo-heinu Melech Ha’Olam borei p’ree ha-gafen u’vorei chalev shokolad.

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the Universe, Creator of the Fruit of the vine and creator of chocolate milk.

Breaking the middle matzoh.

We have before us the three chocolate matzoh.  We break the middle matzoh and hide half as the afikomen .

This is the matzoh of affliction that our forefathers and foremothers ate in the land of Egypt.

May all who want, let them come and eat, before we eat it all.

Now we are here, may next year find us eating chocolate in the Land of Israel.  Now we are slaves, next year may we be free.

(The second cup of chocolate milk is filled)
